Hey Everybody-
There have been a few questions about our 2022 membership car. Rest assured that no one has been missed and no cars have been lost in shipment. The reality is that since Covid and the associated shutdowns, MicroTrains Line has had a shortage of labor in their assembly department. Many of the shells have been decorated and are ready for assembly, and the process of affixing the etched metal parts have begun, but they simply are low on people to complete the tasks. Eric, Vicki, and all of MTL are very sorry for this very frustrating situation, and all of the NSE board apologizes on their behalf. They do have several production positions open, but the area has experienced a large outward migration since the fires and covid devastations hit. (if any of you want to apply, they certainly will consider you!).
They are working diligently to complete the membership cars alongside their regular production, and you will receive your car. Sorry for the delay-
PS- Not kidding about the job potential. Medford is consistently rated high in quality of living and semi retirement, and the job would be full time with benefits.
