Kato UP 4015 Excursion and UP 1979 SD70Ms

Email this morning from TW taking preorders saying Kato is doing the two SD70Ms.

UP 1979 is the "We Are ONE" SD70M and the UP 4015 is the PTC unit that was used with 4014 this year. Silver trucks and green nose anti glare paint.

Saying special run limited availability and will not be rerun according to Kato.

Can't find anywhere else yet also confirming the pair.

Hogtrainz has the same two up for pre-order. Kato announcements seem to come from shops a couple of weeks before they show up on Kato's website. I would bet that it's legitimate. I'll be reserving the 4015 at my local shop sometime this week.

They are up on Nscale supply also. There is also two more NS straight SD70M and one more new UP SD70M 4364 plus 1979 and 4015.

So with heritage SD70m 4015 means the big boy is coming.

I work in the Rail industry and I see the UP 1979 in Oakland Ca at the port of Oakland and it is real pretty!

 :facepalm:Doh! Fell off my trainaholic wagon and PO'ed  a 1979 & 4014. Waiting on a BLI  Bigboy I ordered due in December But I would have a Kato BB too if they  release one. Earlier this year Kato announced a BB but that got delayed until further notice
