Those like great. But in the meantime I use "Deadland Tufts" from The Army Painter.

I have used a variety of the shrubs from Army Painter as well.  I chose these Yellow ones to represent Scotch Broom plants (Weeds).

That does make good looking sagebrush, and the right color as well, which is hard to get in most scenery lines.  I'm not familiar with Scotch Broom, so I'll take your word on it.

Did you paint these, or are they stock? They look WONDERFUL in your photo, but then I surfed on to The Army Painter's website, and they look like something pulled off of a cat:

Remember, you aren't going to be staring at them through a microscope on the layout. Even Wellberg mats can look a little hokey if you place your eye against them.
