Open Sourcing my VSD File

I recently uploaded my Virtual Sound Decoder files and source to Github for anyone interested in playing around with them.

https://github.com/ekapus/VSD-Conrail-Engine-Pack

Wanted to share with the gang.

It's a pretty cool tech, especially for smaller layouts where sound is more for operational purposes than anything else. '

Here's a rundown on it: https://conrail1285.com/getting-started-with-jmri-virtual-sound-decoders/

Interesting read on your "conrail1285" site.  I found the VSD by accident on JMRI, but had no idea what it was for.  So many thanks.

The link to github is giving me a "server error 500" message.  Which could just be my machine, but generally github works for me.

I gave up rivet counting when I couldn't see an N scale rivet anymore.

Glad to help.

Just tried the link. Seemed ok to me. Maybe a brief hiccup with GitHub.

Hello Ed:

This is "CONRAIL" Conrad.  Thanks to you I am a proud member of the CRHS.

You provided invaluable VSD help back in the summer of 2018.  My question - Is this Github file the same as the Conrail Engine Pack that you sent me via DropBox back on August 14, 2018?

I really enjoy VSD and have 20+ "VSD" locos in my JMRI roster

Conrad

GPL2, eh?  ;)

Is there a header needed in every non-binary file?
