How can I read CVs with an NCE PowerCab?

I've looked through the whole manual and can't find any way to call up and read (not simply enter) the current CV values.

Yes, the manual is a bit lacking.  I don't have my Power Cab handy, but from what I recall, after you type in the CV number, it will read and display its contents before asking you for the new value. If you just hit ENTER at that point, the CV value will remain unchanged.

To get to the CV access mode, got into Program on Programming Track menu, then it is option "2".

When programming on the main, you will not see the current CV values.  But, in Programming Track mode, when you enter a CV number, it reads and displays the current value.  You don't have to actually change the CV value to read it.  Just hitting enter while the value is displayed will exit that CV without changing it.

Hitting the prog/esc button 4 times will bring up the program track mode-you enter 1 for yes >the display will now show. 1 STD> 2 CV> 3 Reg.
Inter the CV you want to change, in option 2.

There is a shortcut to Prom/Trk page by holding the Shift key and pressing 4.
