Material identification

A while back I purchased one of Micro-Trains' stock cars, a GN car that included a cattle pen. The pen appears to be some sort of engineered wood and is about 1/32" thick. It looks to be laser cut and is a very clean cut. What material is this and where can I find a sample to try in a laser cutter?

It is probably Laserboard. A resin impregnated paper material.
