I would see Atlas doing the B units and Scale Trains doing the veranda. I think the verandas are much more likely than the GP9B.

I doubt if we'll see any new N loco tooling from Athearn any time soon - what was the last new loco? The SD70 standard cab in 2017?

On the other hand, maybe they are overdue for new loco tooling!  :D

Scaletrains will probably do the verandas depending on how the slab side ones do.

Atlas could do the GP9B since they own the best tooling for most of the phases, but the question is if there enough of a business case for it. I think UP and Pennsy had the bulk of them so there is that. A SD24B would also be welcome but only UP had all 45 of them.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

Given all the other tooling they did for them, I'm surprised those didn't come along with the other SD24s when those came out back in the day (holy *****, has it been 15 years??).

Tell you what. I have an all-but-completed SD24B on the layout, all it needs is paint. It's needed paint for [shuffle shuffle] 7 or 8 years. The moment I finish it, Atlas will announce.
