Yes, Pete, both 8 Ohm, wired in parallel. The Soberton is an 8x12, the other a 14x36mm with enclosure, see photo and original post.
Together, they do sound great...

This things are noisy li'l buggers, the motor(s) sound like someone is shaking a bucket full of bolts, and the horn sounds like a foghorn. 
I'm not sure if it was me or what, but it seemed that when  they were brought to complete stop, the break squeal continued after they were stopped.

Ha, yes they do sound like a bucketful of bolts at start up (the auxiliary engine) and they are noisy. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t do them justice. The iPhone, propped up within few inches of the mainline distorts the sounds (it seems to emphasize the high frequencies) and so does my iPad when I watch it. In person, they sound much better, far better than any other diesel I have. They also run extremely well, much slower than shown...it’s hard to operate the camera with one hand and the throttle with the other and do short clips. As to the various sound effects, like brake squeal, I’m still tweaking them: reprogramming on the main while running them. Fun...

Well, I think they sound great in the video. 

But, I've noticed the same lack of sound quality from my iPhone.  That's why when I do videos, I use a now-ancient Sony digital Handycam.  It's not HD quality, but it does 720p and that seems to work fine for YouTube stuff.  And the sound quality is much better than my iPhone, plus I can mount it on a tripod.

But in any event, great job, Otto!
