I have a ESU Cab control and I’m trying to use BXP88s for power management and detection feedback to JMRI
Currently I have a PR3 with loconet Connected to DS64s and BXPA1 Autoreverser. Everything is working well currently.
When I add in the BXP88 the detection leds stay solid and the zone led blinks twice every 2 seconds. Stating no track power. I’ve tried connecting it directly to the ESU booster with nothing else connected and no luck.
I’m thinking the issue has something to do with the common return Digitrax wants you to use for boosters.
Does anyone have BXP88s working with their cab control?
Do I need a L net converter for these to function correctly?
I believe that will also eliminate the need for a PR3 connection back to JMRI
