Looks to be 1957-1990 for the basic apparatus, the light bar design puts it roughly '70s and forward. I wouldn't be surprised to see this model and configuration still in use today by "lesser" departments... I'll have to look out the window next time I hear sirens.

Some of the details depicted on the cab of the Athearn model did not appear until the 1968 model year.
