Need very fine/flexible fiber optic strands

 Does anyone make f/o strands finer than Circuitron's .020, and maybe more flexible??

I have some 0.010" plastic fiber optics. I'm pretty sure Circuitron had those too (or some other company that Walthers carries).
But you wont' get much light out of such thin strand. I used it for red marker lights in an observation car.
Some fibers used for communication are thinner than 0.010" but they are glass.

How much of this .25mm strand do you need. I have several feet of the .25, that I purchased from the company in John's link, left over from a project. If you need some for experimenting with, or to complete a specific project, PM me your mailing address and I will mail you some. I can send several inches or it looks like 5-6 feet left on the roll. I will roll it and send in 1st class envelope. This stuff is as fine as frogs hair.

When I looked at some of those, the fibers were thicker than 0.010"  At least 0.020" or thicker.

Pete, yes they are for marker lights for a caboose that had existing, lighted markers. They weren't done well.
 Carl, 2ft of the .010 would be great. I will PM you my address. Thanks very much.
