Athearn cars - missing screws

I have several Athearn hoppers that are missing the kingpin screws. These were in process of being weathered when I lost my whole MTL coupler case with all my kingpins and screws. These parts are not available from Athearn.

Any ideas what I could use to substitute?

Can't Athearn tell you the specs so you can look it up?  I've got to believe these are sourced from supplies that are used for other things.

I can put callipers to some screws if you need, and no one beats me to it.
