During my recent visit to N Scale Supply in Arvada, CO., I stumbled on a bunch of ziplock baggies with all kinds of used goodies, including one that had pieces of what looks like a partly scratchbuilt Boston and Maine milk car. It has two small doors per side and looks rather unique, so of course I had to buy it even though I really have no reason to run such a thing on my Cajon Pass layout.
Or do I? I have pics of an Erie milk car, converted to head end service, on a mail train in San Bernardino in the late forties. So just what is this car and what’s its history, B&M fans?
Thanks. Pics below...

The shop is in an old industrial complex in the middle of nowhere, but their new and used inventory is excellent...
