I had a chance to visit the CN Walker Shops in Edmonton, AB over the weekend and there were two of the experimental LNG tenders on display.  These are very interesting and would make a great model.  They appear to be based on an intermodal well car base to hold the tank, and with a walkway over the top and some neat end detail.

Look like a re-purposed 677000 series car.
