The two GN Airslides look interesting.  And before anyone else asks, yes, they're from different series, and have different capacities.  The gray one is supposed to be a 70 ton car, while the blue one is from an earlier 50 ton series.  I had to look that up, thinking they should be the same.

So far, N Scale Supply hasn't posted these, but when they do, I will order at least the BSB GN car.  I have the early GN gray version from Atlas, so will have to think about that.  My layout doesn't have any customers that need Airslides...

I just looked at MB Klein's website, and their search function is a mess.  I don't know if they're taking reservations for these or not, as I never found them.  I did find this:

"Athearn N 7330 SD70, Northern Pacific #3805"


The picture looks like an SD70, and is certainly NP, but when did Athearn start making N scale fantasy locomotives?  Klein also has an SP&S version listed.

Jason:  Thank you.  I missed those, probably because the SD70 is about 20 years too new for my railroad!

They're actually both good looking models, although I think the NP units should be in the 4000 series, not 3800.  NP's modern diesels were numbered by horsepower, with the U33Cs in the 3300 series, and SD45s the 3600.  The 3800 series should be SD60s, if they're EMD units.

I wonder how the SP&S units would run with the C636s?

Kleins also doesn't do preorders

Ike:  Thank you.  I haven't done much business with Kleins, although they did a good job on the orders I have sent them.  If they don't take preorders, that explains why I didn't find them...

N Scale Supply still doesn't list the new Airslides.  I guess I'll have to email them and see if they're accepting orders.

Update:  N Scale Supply has the Airslides listed for reservations.  I'll get at least a couple later today.
