How will the decoders be configured in the PDCs? Will they have the same address, but opposite direction of travel?
And if they do have the same address, how will a horn blast work? Will it only sound in the forward-running unit or both?

Same address and opposite direction. The programming of each decoder is different.
The horn will only be heard in the leading PDC. Though interestingly, on the prototype, when the train was switching at Montreal Central Station the crews would often set the bells going at both ends. Our model won't be able to do that unfortunately. Not many people model Central Station...
