I saw this loco on the way home from the Springfield show, was figuring she'd get cut up. They say she is, or is nearly, operational, which makes it the oldest running diesel loco in New England. Oddly, possibly more B&M SW1's survive than their GP7s and GP9s ..They had 21 SW1s, 25 GP7s and 50 GP9s.

I think a total of 7 still exist, and at least 2 still run..
