Bryan:  Both nice looking trucks.  Did you do the Weyerhauser decals?  Good looking logs, too.

Living in Appalachia, a "log truck" is either a straight truck, or a semi with multiple bunks, because a log over 20 ft long is unusual.  Many years ago I saw a western-style log truck, loaded with pipe, eastbound on the Interstate.  That's the only one I've seen east of the Black Hills, though, to be fair, I haven't seen much of the "Great North Woods".

I commissioned the decals from @peteski.  Out here on the Western slope of the Cascades, 40' logs are the norm.

In the 60s and 70s 40 ft logs were also common on the "dry side", and in Montana, which is why I have so many on my log flats. 

Back here, it's hard to find a tree with 40 feet of straight trunk.

Willmodels (on eBay) offers a beverage body.  Then all you need is a custom-printed decal. If you have some good straight-on photos making a decal would be easy. Or even easier,  you could do it yourself: print the entire side of the body (sized to fit the model) on a piece of paper and just glue it to the model.  Do the same with the rear end.

I haven't been around the forums for a while (too busy), but I just wanted to correct a statement you made about a Willmodels beverage body. I have plans to make a 12-bay model for a medium-duty truck chassis but so far I have only made a 14-bay Mickey beverage trailer (available in my Shapeways shop).

Nice to see you back.  My statement was a very generic one about a beverage body trailer being available in N Scale. Sometimes "close enough" is better than nothing.  But I'm glad to know that you will offer a 2nd beverage body.
To be honest I have not checked your eBay store for a while. Have you produced any of the vehicles with see-through windows like you were planning?

That is too bad.  They usede the info you provided to duplicate your truck and they used your story. When magazines publish articles, besides the payment, they also give the author a free copy of the issue with their article.

A "thank you" model of your truck would have been nice. But I guess with the low production numbers, and extremely high (IMO artifically created) demand, they couldn't even spare a single model.
