BLI decide questions

I have two E8s that started life as dual headlight versions, where the top light is on "mars" mode. These have been converted to single headlight models, so I need to turn off the lower LED and reassign the your LED to function as a regular headlight.

Reading though the manual that came with the E8, it only gives the CV to turn the mars light on and off, but not reassign its function.

Any ideas?

If you have access.. or know someone who has access to JMRI /Decoder Pro, they might be able to help tweak some 'unadvertised' CVs for function mapping..

I'm not sure how flexible those QSI decoders are..

But you should be able to set the upper Led to Headlight.. I can't imagine they have a different decoder light board for single vs dual headlight units.

Curious if the stock single light has top set to headlight and lower disabled..?
