A Different Image Problem - Externally Hosted
« on: March 09, 2018, 09:39:32 AM »
Sort of a minor bug... but... something with the change has caused externally-hosted images to not work right from thumbnails created with {img width=X height=Y}. I typically will downsample my pics hosted on my server to 10" wide @ 144ppi, then link into the thread with width=512 or sometimes smaller for better text readability. It used to be that you could click on the semi-thumbnail to get the full 10" image in a popup window, but now it just overprints a "Loading..." in the middle of the pic and does nothing.

The momentary workaround is to just let the image display in the thread at the full 10" size, but I'd still prefer the thumbnail thing if that's OK.

Thanks!  :)

All of your pictures seem to work fine when I click on them even with the 512 width tag.

Interesting. This happens to me on two different computers, one is the system that hosts the pics. I tried another browser, same thing. :|

It works on my Surface but on my phone nothing happens on the first click, and on the second touch it just opens it from your server.
