Wheels Of Time to make Chevy Step Van

Top of page 13 in the new issue of NSR shows an announcement for a new step van.

The photo shows the model in two colors, and appears to be cast resin. Detail looks good. The model looks to be based on the Chevy Step Van of the late 60's and produced though the 80's. Many are still around today.

Spotting features include a split grill ("Chevrolet" would be printed on the bar) and two side stiffeners.

Grumman made an almost identical van with a different grill. That should be easy to change out.

The announcement is likely referring to models that are only available from the Shapways site, under the newly formed Custom Editions by Wheels of Time line.

Two and three packs of step vans are offered in either Frosted Ultra Detail or Black Hi-Def Acrylate.

According to the product descriptions, along a separate steering wheel, the models are one-piece products with integrated tires and wheels.
