Exact Rail Wheelsets

Anybody here try these yet? I'm a big user of the FVM "narrow" sets and don't see changing that, but being aware that ER does their own machining domestically, I'm curious about the comparison.

Do we know what wheels these replace such as axle length? Never mind I see that they are .540 axle length.
So whose wheels are these good for?

.540 is the width used for MTL and Athearn, I imagine it fits Exactrail's stuff too.

Most of Atlas trucks take a .553 axle length. These will be too loose if not fall out to the truck.

I’m disappointed in ExactRail. When they first announced these wheelsets, they promised a realistic rear profile. The backs are as flat as could be.

I see on the link that the Exactrail wheels are number EWN-301.  I have used these when they were still sold by my dealer in Germany and was happy with them.  My main use was replacement of Athearn plastic wheels.  The Athearn trucks of the early time looked the same as Atlas, both with Accumates then, but Athearn trucks were narrower and had the shorter axle length.
IIRC the threads were similar to the wide thread FVM wheels.  The profiling of the wheel backside is only visible on a few cars, mostly tank cars  ( IMHO  )
