Help with Google Sketchup

Howdy,

So I'm getting the hang of Sketchup and I love the printed output.  Reminds me of my days learning architectural drafting.  Anyway, moving on to 3D Printing and I cannot get this stupid program to export/save as an STL file.  It has the convert icon but I cant get it to process anything.  I'm using the free version at the moment and according to the info on the net its supposed to work fine...Im not feeling the love     Any ideas?

You have to go to the 3D warehouse store thingie and install a "export stl" plug-in.  It is called "sketchup stl".

I save mine as  .dae files that are an export option in Sketchup and are supported by Shapeways.

Thanks..

I have a form labs printer here and it will only take STL's and I think Obj...  I'll try the patch.
