Atlas GP 38-2 expected delivery

Does anyone have an idea of when the new run of Atlas GP 38-2's announced in May 2017 are expected to hit the stores? The Atlas Website says 4Q 2017. I've emailed Atlas and awaiting a reply but wondering if someone already inquired or has an inside info? Thanks in advance.

Well there's no container shipping date so they are probably at least two months out.

This is only a guess.

FWIW, the NE-5 cabooses which were listed as 3rd quarter, are in the current container.

So speculation says there arriving date is the approximate time the product arrives at the harbor in China?  :trollface:

My Soo S2's were listed 4Q 2016 I got mine this past summer...
2nd Q next year would be my guess for the GP38-2...

I have a feeling this is going to depend on the availability of the ESU decoders.
