Pretty rewarding to see ones hard work on the cover of a magazine.
I got the opertunity to build a tug for Mike Pagano's latest project.
Never thought it would show up in a cover shot!

And to think I was there while that tug of balsa and styrene took shape from from a terrible photograph. And I was there at Eastside Trains when Mike bought that Canadian Pacific S2 after a trip to the Puyallup train show and the Boeing swap meet. That was as fun day! And here's the payoff. Hah! I watched the masters at work, and there it is on the cover of NSR.

Great work, guys!

A week and a half and it's time for the Lynden Lions annual train show. I can hardly wait.

Hate to say it but NSR is kinda kickin' NSM's butt, in terms of quality on the workbench modeling and all around presentation.

IMO Kirk has always done a great job with NSR.
He is very receptive of articles by N Scale modelers and I have been fortunate to feature in several editions.
So to all you fine N Scale modelers out there put pen to paper and tell your story.
Rod.
