July 2017 New Release – Part 1


The ES44ACs are here! Just in time to heat up the summer, we bring you the highly anticipated ES44ACs. These models feature prototype specific details, directional controlled LEDs, working ditch lights, traction tires, intricate printing, optional plow, powerful can motor, dual flywheels and come DCC ready. The release is BNSF with the swoosh logo.  Three road numbers are available.

Greenville 60’ Boxcars:

Gotta drop some kudos here since this is a big announcement.   I have one on the way but by all accounts they are great locos and a huge step for Z-Scale.

As pi$$ed as I am that they aren't doing BNSF Heritage II, this is still a nice release.

No doubt.   THAT would be awesome.   I was wanting the H-II ES44's as a "stand in" for Dash 9's but yeah....a true Dash 9 in plastic would be epic.

Indeed this is a great step forward. Finally I can get the other two heritage units that I really want. I would love to have them all but I will be very happy to add the PRR and Interstate. I can live with those two plus the Erie and VGN. I'll have to add some of the regular NS to my future purchases list too.

Now if AZL will do some Dash-8 I will be very happy.
