I just moved about an hour and a half away from Columbus from another state...sounds intriguing enough to possibly make a drive to Hilliard...

@ski  It's well worth the trip. Great lot of vendors and layouts. It's where I first saw the Galesburg City Job, which inspired me to get off my duff and start modeling again.

Was really looking forward to this , but the Dr scheduled me for surgery the Thursday before . Might still make it if I'm able to drive though and am not in too much pain .....

Ski, this is a train show with only N scale.  No vendors selling cups, railroad t-shirts, etc.  There are 59 tables of merchandise from vendors, new and used.  There are 12 N scale layouts Several N-TRAK, two T-TRAK, one a club the other a joint, some layouts from clubs who do their own thing,  If you want something in N this is the place to be.  A gathering of N-scalers by N-scalers for N-scalers.  Come and join us in the fun.  later, Craig

Ski, she whom must be obeyed (wife for those unfamiliar with Rumple of the Bailey) said that in her opinion it is a very dangerous place for one's wallet.  (she entered my study and read the post)  Talking with other n-scale modelers is a great reason to attend, see how others do things, get motivated and have some fun.  I usually am at the registration desk, introduce yourself, I will be sitting in the office chair.  later, Craig

Yes, its easily worth the 1 1/2 hour trip. You just gotta love an all N scale show! I suggest staying for the auction as well. There can be some deals to be had. You will not regret it.

OK, so it's worth the 1 1/2 hour trip but how about 3 1/2?  I guess I'm going to find out Saturday.

I won't be able to attend this year due to schedule conflicts, but the two shows I have previously attended were well worth the drive from central PA.  More vendors from the midwest who don't ordinarily come to the Bedford / Altoona show in August, so the "new to me" layouts and vendors is always a treat.
