N scale Plasser tamping machine from Greenmax

We might have discussed these in the past. Would this be something that could be modified to make it into a piece of American MOW equipment?

Absolutely - except for the sound deadening shutters, these machines (or very similar ones) are owned/leased by UP, BNSF, Amtrak and the NY MTA/LIRR. 

I've never seen them on NS or CSXT.

It'll be a tough job to fill in under the sound shutters. I had preordered one years ago. It's a great model and plenty of room for a hard-wired decoder. It's pretty much all plastic except for one metal weight so it's a bit noisy when it runs, and the trailer unit is lighted too, but almost impossible to disassemble without damaging something.

I keep hoping Kibri/Viessmann will bring their MOW machines to N-scale.   The European machines are even closer to some US stuff.
