Hello All,
This is a thread to document my slow progress on the ATSF in Fort Sumner, New Mexico done across a score of free-moN modules.
It has taken me quite some time to nail down a prototype, The 3 modules I am working on currently started out as Levy Siding, NM, on the Las Vegas subdivison. But I have since decided to take out the semaphores for simplicity and will be moving them south to the southern transcon. The modules will be set in roughly 1994 but I still plan on running equipment from all eras. Please do not expect quick progress as I tend to work in short spurts. The end goal is to have about 10 modules depicting Ft. Sumner and the surrounding areas.

I decided on Fort Sumner due to the linear layout of track and railroad-related structures as my modules are just 12" wide and I intend on keeping that conistent over the entire length of the scene. I also liked the road underpass near the depot. There is a lot of scene in a relatively short area, which should mean I can do free-mo as intended and have a very long and realistic scene that does not feel compressed. I am hoping to have a 15 foot long siding which should be useful at shows.
