I cross this siding almost every week for the last 4 years and have never caught the crew switching. Well, today that ended finally ! This siding is at Allen Distribution in Carlisle, PA. Here the crew is pulling all the empties (two tracks worth) in preparation to shove boxcars loaded full of beer to be unloaded. It is a kind of unique situation at this location, as there are 6 or 7 dock doors but they unload 12/14 cars at a time. There are two tracks side by side, and spot two boxcars side by side at each door, laying a dock plate between the two cars.

I hope that I get to do this again at work. This shot is from 2015. The MDDE railroad is shoving loaded DDG cars in to Perdue Hurlock in Maryland. The mill has gone "organic" which apparently means no rail service. I'm using RS3m #1203. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Two GEs and an EMD climb the grade into Mount Lofty, South Australia, with an empty grain train on 3 January 2017. The station here has been converted into a guest house and a few of us were staying here for the New Year break. The picture is taken from the station platform.
