I can't believe, in 2015, there are still BN painted locomotives floating around. That's awesome.

I've never seen that caboose in use.  I wonder what it's for.

During my delivery route, I heard a horn as I got out of my truck.  As I got to the back to open a door, I seen this guy sticking out around the backside of building next door.

It was the late running (which is pretty routine lately) D795 Hanover to Hagerstown run.  The following was rest of consist.  The pictures were taken from in front of Dominos Pizza on Elm St.  The train went into the siding here to switch out a handful of tank cars at the Utz Potato Chip plant.

Oh, yeah. They're sort of hidden in plain sight, everywhere. On our local/yard job, we regularly have a green Geep to match the green way car shoving platform. And occasionally one in Yellow Bonnet. BNSF is obviously in no hurry to paint anything.

Given the track configuration on that side of golden I'd say shoving platform.

There is one doing yard duty and local area switching here in San Diego, CA. Usually paired with an ex Santa Fe GP 60.

Just a SD60E leading a mixed freight. I used to hate the looks of these but they've grown on me.

I took this one the other night on my way home from work. It isn't the best photo in the world but I loved the way the red lights of the MBTA commuter train reflected off the side of the Acela.
