The Juice Train on Sand Patch.  Wait . . . what?

Cool!  It looks like you weren't alone.  :)  I'm going to guess that this is the same train in Kentucky.

Those have been showing up a lot around here.  I'll get excited when I finally see the new EMD Tier 4 units.

Yep, it appears to be the same train.  I apologize for the poor quality of my picture, but what you cannot appreciate in my shot is that it was getting dark and my cell phone really couldn't focus all that well in that light.  The picture in the link you posted is hawt.  We noticed the new power as it passed by, but we had to go back and look at our pictures to confirm they were ET44AHs.

Oh, and that appears to be Ed K. on top of the tie pile at right.

It was. I'll be using this week to see if I did better. I don't think I did...

Teaser!  I got cell service up here in the mountains of Pennsylvania just enough to post this:  The Juice Train on Sand Patch.  Wait . . . what?  This train was detoured due to flooding in South Carolina.

Still railfanning.  More next week.

Wow, those units are spotless.

They're getting closer.  On display at the RSI show in Minnesota Oct 4-7, 2015:

A visit to Huntingdon PA on a gojuss Saturday to go to Hartslog Day in Alexandria PA yielded a quick detour to the EBT - where the Friends of the EBT were gathered. I then spent a short time at the Huntingdon station on Sunday, but did not see any trains during my 20 minutes there.  Of course, almost immediately after I left the station area, I heard three trains go by in the next 15 minutes....
