I have an Armstrong meat packing plant, named after a brother-in-law who recently retired from Hormel.

My main city, Cedricsburg, is named after the uncle that turned me on to the hobby.

Probably the most egregious name I'm considering for an industry is a grocery wholesaler, Rhee Produce. But I've run across the surname Rhee a few times in the real world.

The smallest industry on the layout is Doolittle Manufacturing. That name always cracks me up.

Well, in the real world there was at one time a "Zero Manufacturing", in Burbank, CA. Clearly, they made nothing.

"Rhee Produce" doesn't sound any worse than Azwell Fruit.  I have that, and it's actually a prototype name, indirectly.  A. Z. Wells was an early fruit grower and hardware store owner in the Wenatchee, WA area.  GN named a station north of Wenatchee "Azwell" because the main reason for the station was one of his packing plants.  As far as I know his hardware business is still going, as Wells and Wade Hardware.

Mom's from Wenatchee, and my main pre-BN interest in the GN, so stealing the name was easy.

"Rhee" is a not uncommon Korean name.  Around here, there are many people in the grocery business who are of Korean extraction.  It would not be unrealistic, at all.
