Will we ever get a a decent quality steam-era gon, like a USRA 41-footer?  The Atlas, Model Power, etc. 30+ year old toolings don't cut it anymore.

I was just looking at the Accurail HO gon and wished out loud.  Atlas seems like the most likely provider to me. 

For me the A1G is that it doesn't appear to be any particular prototype, or maybe just one - and not enough panels, shallow end detail, thick top rail, high ride height and truck mount couplers...

Yeah, there were a couple of threads on this topic on the Atlas forum. I think one car that was close was found.
