Ballast Doors

Im sure a few of you remember mocolava model works from a few years ago made ballast doors doors...i bought a few thinking "oh, ill make a Herzog train" - years later now after losing interest, regaining it and losing it again im finally breaking open the box of ballast hoppers (roughly 35) and I only have one extra set of doors...does anyone know of a secret hoard of these?  or maybe something someone can do on shapeways easily?

I could use some as well. The ones you have pictures are a bit too long for the prototype I am trying to emulate. Seems as if something could be fabricated from styrene that might work.

Now this is something Shapeways could be used for....   

This is on my list (ballast door for Herzog (Athearn, MDC) cars.  Let me take another look at this and I'll post my progress.  The thing is, I need to do this on a sprue - and make 20-40 at a time to be cost effective.

i need enough for 20-30 cars...with plans to covert some of my older PS2s to orange CSX cars...

Bill,
far as i am aware he simply evaporated into thin air.  nobody else made ballast doors...the intakes he made for GP10s and 11s were garbage IMHO... ANOTHER shapeways idea?

Herzog has converted Coalporters now as well... don't know where the heck they came from though (i.e, former owner)
