Kato Class 66 and 77

Hay anyone purchased either one of these?  How does it run, and pull?
I'm interested in converting from the Rapido coupler to either a Micro-Trains or Kato knuckle coupler and what's involved since the mechanism is pivoted.
It looks like DCC conversion is easy, just the 6 pin NEM decoder.

It's a Kato, so chances are that it's a good runner. If it has an NEM coupler pocket, best choice for a replacement coupler would be the Dapol Easi-Shunt.
