DN163A0 in Intermountain SD-40-2W front headlight

Has anybody had success with this critter? For those who do not know it uses a small board at the front of the chassis for the front light. There are no light tubes, the decoder is some distance from and much higher than the opening. Digitrax is apparently not aware of the situation. I do not own any of these, I did 2 decoder installs for a customer last night. They left with no front light. Bob.

I seem to recall I I soldered to the LED from the Digitrax decoder and turn attached the wires from the Intermountain.

What I did also , save the led from the IM board and re-use it .

OK guys, I did that, red lead to right side,  black to left side. Nada. that was the same orientation as on the stock board. Bob.
