Both RMC and MR came today

Thanks for the update.  FYI, I subscribe to MR and received my July MR several weeks ago.  Also, I subscribe to RMC and have not received the JUNE issue and did not see it at Barnes & Noble.  However, B&N did have a few Issue 101s of The Railroad Press.  My biggest disappointment with The Railroad Press is that they do not maintain their web site for the current magazine, plus did not respond to my email inquiry.  RMC did not reply to my brief email either, even though I have been a subscriber for years.  If RMC remains a month behind, I will not renew and use the savings to subscribe to Classic Trains.

I have just received my May RMC in Australia, I have also got my July MR and Trains, but I don't understand why a magazine is expected to be available a month or two before the published month, in this day and age of instant gratification via the web, I think many people just expect beyond reality for some things.

I have just had communication with RMC (checking on my subscription due date) and the email discussion with Lyn Good was more than satisfactory, maybe the approach is important.

I also think that statements such as "My experiences in the print publication business makes me believe the problem is payments to the outsourced printer. Every print media I've been involved with that fell behind in  publishing schedules did so because of unpaid bills to the publishers." as stated by an earlier poster should be careful as far as assumptions go.
