NSN PIggy Packer Back

Keith Wiseman at Wiseman Model Services bought as much stuff as he could after John Coots passed away.

But he didn't get everything.  He still needed a little help here and there.

So over two years ago, I sent him a mint condition un-opened Piggy Packer set.
He was then able to fill in what he still needed.

But that was a long time ago (and the Wheels of Time Packer was announced not long after he started this process.)

Well, I called him up, thinking the project was dead.
He said, No.  He actually had done most of the work.

He said call back in about three weeks.

Well that was less than 48 hours ago.

I guess he finished, because the Piggy Packer is up on ebay.

Search NSN or Piggy and you will find it.

I'm glad because while I like the WOT unit, CSX has both the WOT and the older prototype that the NSN model is based on.

In fact somewhere, I saw a CSX flatcar load where they were hauling a piggy packer.

I've got an original NSN kit unopened if anybody needs one.

I also have unbuilt NSN 'packer, and the WOT version.  The WOT rtr version is so much nicer than the NSN kit, there is no comparing them. And WOT is fully articulated.

But I guess that if you need a specific version made by NSN, then you have no choice but to build a kit.
