Chassis ideas for an AEM7

I bought an AEM shell off shapeways. Anyone know what euro engine has the correct chassis and trucks? The AEM7 seems to have a unique snubber above the three coil truck springs, almost resting on the body frame.

One of our club members used a recent Tomix ED-series Japanese electric loco chassis. Not sure which exact one or how the trucks compare, but it was a direct slip-in with good adhesion and pulling power. Not too expensive either.
