This is definitely something needed, and something I will be in line for, at some point.

Does anyone else find it hard to pull the trigger on some of the rapid prototyping stuff?   I mean, I feel  like the technology is improving exponentially.   Even waiting a year might yield a much better result.   Dunno...NScaleAddict is brining me around though.   I guess once my layout gets a little further along it might help.    Although in this case probably not since my true hardcore "ag modeling" won't happen until my next layout.    Still, I am collecting items for that    but therein lies my ability to hold off.    But I do fear that some of the items will disappear so there's that.    I need a drink.

I feel your pain.  My Shapeways shopping cart never goes below about 8 items . . . and these are going in it as soon as Mark releases them.  Of course, now that the wife has decided we need to remodel the kitchen . .

Well, I'm attempting to go back to school for my masters...that's kinda like remodeling a kitchen.    So, my hobby budget will be nil during that so I've been on a bit of a spree of late to stock up while I can.   But the Shapeways cart and the Traincat cart are always drawing me in.   I think I'm gonna set aside $50-75 for each and just get whatever I can get for that amount and be done for now.

I would like to see more finished versions of these alleged Shapeways purchases.   

I really hope the technology continues to evolve as well.  I spent most of 2013 designing, printing, and hoping to find time to paint my models.  It truly is a new addiction for me.  I have a list of dozens of models that I would like to design still. 

Nice work Mark, I was wondering when you would crank out some designs again.
