I have used parts from Miniatures By Eric before.  Yes, they are first-rate.  Very crisp, sharp castings.
But being the only game in town is not an excuse, plus, I'm sure it hurts his sales.  In my case,
if the pictures had been clear, I would have ordered some.  As it stands, I will use what I got from Athearn
and if Eric ever answers me, maybe he will sell me some.

Another thing, many of his parts are brass, not plastic.  I was shocked when I ordered his 3-axle tender truck sideframes that they came in brass.  That's great.  But again, if you could realize this from the photos, and see how good the parts are, they would sell more.

Honestly, anybody with a $100 point-and-shoot camera can take acceptable sharp photos that would be way better than
what he has on there.

Bob, maybe you should offer Eric your photo service after all.   You would be doing a favor, not just to hm, but to the modeling community in general (who could benefit from using his parts but are leery of purchasing what they can't see, for the prices he charges).  The prices are ok, for those quality castings, but if one can't see that in the picture, the price seems a bit off-putting.
