You could also just sell the front facade ... so people can fit it into a metro scene like the proto

Thanks guys. We may look at selling just facades with future kits, but I think one will most likely remain a full structure. We have multiple designs in development, so we'll keep it in mind as we do additional ones.

I know that you are using thin plywood (not those fragile basswood sheets used by some other laser kit manufacturers), but is there a possibility that you could make those parts from either laser board or even some kind of plastic like acrylic or styrene?  Those are more stable and easier to work with than wood.

It is laserboard. The original post was incorrect. So the "core" (which is completed covered) is wood. The rest of the structure "layers" are laserboard.

We're working on a few things that are a little more multi-purpose than the firehouse. No brownstones at the moment but we do have a corner building and a cast iron facade structure in the works. Corner one is based on a building in Philadelphia and the cast iron from Tribeca.
