Getting a Private Message Email

When you get an email telling you you have a PM here, it is merely a courtesy message.  Replying to the email doesn't reply to the sender - it goes to me .

Doesn't that courtesy email also state in bold letters not to reply to it and instead go the forum and reply to the PM in your inbox?
