Bakersfield, CA ATSF roundhouse photo

Trying to locate a photo of the concrete side wall of the ATSF roundhouse at Bakersfield. It is very similar to the one at San Berdoo. But I looked at a small low resolution photo taken with the side wall at a sharp angle. But the rib molding for the celestory area of the wall appears to be different. Below are drawings, note the difference in the ribs. The pilot (practice) wall has been done, but would feel much better about some better information. (BTW, the reason for wanting to make the model more like Bakersfield is liking the low roof better, no drain lip)
The first drawing is based on San Berdoo, the second on Bakersfield. Thanks for any help.

....nope.  None that really show the wall he is interested in.    I've scoured the net before for images of this Roundhouse because we have modeled it at the club.

RWC, I have one photo on my computer that shows the wall in question, but it's a pretty oblique angle, quite likely the same one you're already working from.  Can't remember where I got it. 
I also have a picture of the back of the roundhouse that I do not believe you'll find on the web.  Taken by John Weismann in '78.

As you probably know, when they demolished half the roundhouse in the 1960s, they did not recreate the decoration on the new outside wall they built, which is the one that appears in most photos.

Ah. That's the problem. The wall you usually see in the photos... well... that was an easy photo because you didn't have to venture onto RR property. The whiskers on the south side of the pit abutted to a city street. IIRC you couldn't even get to the north side of the roundhouse without walking across numerous yard tracks because there was no access road on that side, the closest being next to the ice racks.

well, finding a picture of that wall will be tough, Jim Kelly scratch built one in N scale, and the articles were in the  October and November 1989 issues of Model Railroader.

I remember as a kid driving up the 99, seeing the roandhouse and asking to stop. On my dad's birthday in 1992, we chased 3751 down to Bakersfield, and I thought that this was my chance...they tore it out a few weeks earlier

Yes, I have that copy of MR. To me, the article provided little dimensional info, and few scale drawings. Also, oddly enough, there are NO pictures of the concrete wall side, of the prototype or the model, anywhere in the article.
