First of all, the first two groups of N scale cabooses are all but done and we are expecting to ship them to dealers during the first week of January.
Pictures are here:  http://www.bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_016.htm
and here:  http://www.bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_036.htm

We also have a few new announcements for N this month and they can be found here:

Enjoy,
Craig

Wow, had a little extra black paint this month?

The Conrail cabs look good.

Very glad to see the D&RGW hoppers done again. :D
A question, would a load of limestone only fill a 70 ton hopper about half way? :?
Considering coal has a specific gravity of about 1.2 and limestone twice or more that.
Just wondering. :|
BTW, this will not stop me from buying them. ;)
Thanks.

Luv seeing the P&S hoppers.

They were a staple on coal trains through this area.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling that I might want to get some for trains into Consol coal here in B'more. Can any of you locals corroborate their presence here in the CR era?

Yes. The loads come with small risers on the ends to hold them at the correct height for coal. For other loads, you can clip them off and stuff the load further down in the car. Because the slope sheets eat significantly into the volume of the bottom half of the car, the level would be a quarter to a third down of that of coal.
