Japanese TCM prototype. Its 1/150 scale though US cntainer lifts tend to be a little larger to handle heavy 48' containers.

It looks like a new Kato model, could be 1/160.

That does look just like the TCM/Tomytec(?) model, which there seems to have been a couple variations of. One of which has the hook thingy on the rear corner of the spreader just like this one does. I've been drooling over the TCM model for a while but was holding off due to the scale being off a bit. If this is an all-new model that is the correct scale, im in for at least one for sure.

I have the Tomytec TCM model, and it looks just fine hauling my containers around.

The hook looks like it applies pressure to the container to hold it in place. Those handrails look horrible though....

Tomytec and Fujimoto both produced the TCM FD430. The tomytec one has better detail but the Fujimoto unit can be put together with either a low of high clearance cab.

Maruka made a TCM MR450 Reach-Stacker, but was not made available seperatley and was of inferior quality to the others.

Yup, looks just like it with a few modifications. I see in the Kato pic they made what appears to be a snap hook to clip onto the containers. Not very prototypical.

The scale at 1:150 is a non-issue (and I'm picky about these things), as it’s really hard to understand the scale for these uncommon objects. It’s not like you have a 1:160 scale container stilling next to a 1:150 scale one.

I've been really pleased with the one I purchased. The variations with mine where an optional raised cab option. (which is in the Kato pic, but not in the one I setup below)

I think the Kato pic shows a totally new model. 

Smike, yours looks great.    I'm sure any of these would work with 1/160 containers.

You can order the Tomytec ones through Plazajapan on eBay and 1999.co.jp/eng. I think they were available through S&R models but I havn't seen much from them recently.
