Anyone Ever Assemble an IM Santa Fe Reefer?

I finally finished most of my Intermountain reefers, but I still have 5 Santa Fe style reefers to go. And I've never assembled that style before. It's completely different. :facepalm:

I was wondering if anyone has some helpful hints. Thanks.

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I have had good luck contacting Intermountain directly. They could probably send you the instruction sheet if that is what you are missing.

I have the instructions, so that supplies the basics. On the standard Intermountain reefers, I found a few building techniques that those instructions didn't mention. For example, trim the grab irons down (1/2 their size) so they don't stick out way too far.

I'm hoping someone has info like that which will save me some trouble.

Been awhile, but I don't think there are any assembly tricks for the ATSF reefers.  They were later tooling and funny stuff like trimming the length of the grabs was taken care of in the design of the parts.
