I need a quick favor if anyone can do this for me. Can someone take a ruler to an N scale Atlas Trainman model of a Thrall 4750 and tell me its length? I am stuck at work today.

My records/inventory measure them at around 55ft.

Been a bit since I measured it, but I seem to do it to all new cars before they make it to the roster

Thanks, but I was looking for its length in inches.   :)   I know the actual car length is 60'. Could you take a ruler to the model?

I get 4.0 inches over the end-rails and 4.5 inches over the Accumate coupler faces.

Yes and no.  Traincat has a set that is sized for this car, but it has the slotted Apex styles boards. The model (and all the proto photos of a Thrall car that I've seen) use the round Morton style boards, but the Traincat one still looks better.
