Looking forward to the 765 through here. It's great to see NS change their tune about steam. Now if we can get the N&W steam back on the rails... [dreaming on]

Not a far-fetched dream though... NS for sure isn't footing any resto bills, but if someone with the cash wants them to run, they will.

They already are footing the bill to get 3 done, so supposedley they are in no big hurry to redo the 611 and 1218. Alot would have to happen to accomplish getting those two back on the rails and only part of it is the restoration.

Ed can't come on account of his ditching the Flaming Volvo Chase Car for something sensible.

Gee, WM 202 is sitting in the Hagerstown Park, all shined up and pressure tested... and it's an  NS track that runs right behind it...  Conrail was the problem back in the day, maybe someone needs to make some phone calls!

Yeah....that Volvo just screamed " train chaser" when he had it....... Not.....

Maybe there is a reason im working on my Subaru WRX lately.....time to reinstate the turbo'd chase vehicle!!
